Many historically important buildings have survived in Pasym.
The sights of the town include old buildings from the late 18th and early 19th centuries, as well as buildings dating from the first half of the 20th century.
Pasym (before 1945 referred to by its German name Passenheim). It was granted an urban charter in 1386, which it lost with the end of the war and regained in 1997. The town lies in the Mazuria region and is surrounded by three lakes: Leleskie, Kalwa and Grom. 30% of the town was levelled in the war, after which the buildings were gradually rebuilt. The streets surrounding the market have retained their distinctive character.
