Pranie – educational nature trail “In the footsteps of Gałczyński”

The educational nature trail “Śladami Gałczyńskiego” (“In the footsteps of Gałczyński”) starts from the car park in Pranie and runs along Lake Nidzkie through the beautiful nooks of the Puszcza Piska Forest.

The poet himself walked the trail and was very fond of it. Along the way, information boards have been set up with details of the local fauna and flora. An observation platform was built on Lake Nidzkie, offering a picturesque view of the lake’s waters. Walking through the shade of the forest, one can also see the 800-year-old oak tree “Perkun”.
