The Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the largest and tallest church in Olsztyn, considered to be one of the most stunning examples of neo-Gothic architecture in north-western Poland. An oriented church, built in red brick, set on a stone foundation, featuring decorative elements made of green-glazed brick and tiles.
The roof is tiled with pantiles, the towers – with slate tiles. The church portal is adorned with a 1908 mosaic. The square by the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus features a sculpture of Christ holding the globe – the oldest such monument in Olsztyn, dating back to 1737. The interior design is neo-Gothic, uniform.
