Half of Olsztyn’s bathing areas are located by Lake Krzywe (Ukiel).
The largest of these is the Municipal Bathing Beach, a well-equipped bathing site with very modern facilities and a large pier. In the summer season, the beach also houses a water play centre made up of about 50 inflatable elements.
Around the site there is a year-round infrastructure of the “Ukiel” Recreation and Sports Centre facilities. The neighbourhood also includes two other bathing areas: “Słoneczna Polana” (Sunny Clearing) at ul. Sielska and the bathing site by the “Omega” hotel. The former is additionally adjoined by a water activity and yacht rental.
