Olsztyn – 19th-century Robert Mrzyk’s tenement building

Robert Mrzyk’s tenement building, located near the General Bem roundabout in Olsztyn, is a monument of architecture built between 1902-1903.

The tenement building comprises two houses that combine to form a single architectural piece. The eclectic building was built to an irregular polygonal plan. It has a 29-axis façade and three-storey bay windows resembling castle towers, topped with metal-roofed domes. The whole structure is covered by a gable roof set above the attic, with subtly decorated dormers on the front. The building retains its original ornamentation.
