Boże was the name of both a village and an estate, and contained a total of 9 houses and 143 inhabitants. The village’s inhabitants numbered 200 in 1870. In 1885, Ferdinand Rogalla von Bieberstein of Baranowo acquired the ownership of the Boże estate from the von Suchodletz family.
