Bartołty – 16th-century church

The first church in Bartołty was built in the late 14th century

A new church was built on the site of the old building in the 16th century. The new building was consecrated by Bishop Marcin Kromer in 1582, but burned down in 1620. Pieces of the walls remained, which served as the foundation for the rebuilt church in 1702. The church was remodelled in the mid-19th century.
