Stoczek Warmiński – Baroque sanctuary

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Peace in Stoczek Klasztorny (Warmiński) is an exceptional historic building that dates back to the 17th century.

The structure was the first Baroque church in Warmia to be built in the shape of a rotunda. The church saw subsequent extensions, and later still – the addition of a monastery. The interior features two attractive and treasured Baroque altars dating from the 17th century, which adorn the side walls of the nave. There is also a wrought-iron pulpit and a pipe organ dating from the 18th century.
