Wszystko dla mojej matki (All for my mother) is the fiction-film debut of Małgorzata Imielska. According to the experts of the 2nd Warsaw Film Festival Competition: Barbara Hollender, Włodzimierz Kowalewski and Sławomir Rogowski, it is a promising first showing.

The captivating screenplay touches upon important social issues, such as parental neglect and abandonment, aggression and rape. The film also speaks of the need for closeness, empathy and responsibility towards other people. The characters are multi-dimensional and fully realised. The story of fifteen-year-old Ola serves to present the life of girls living in correctional facilities. At the film’s core is the message that we should reject the stereotypes prevalent in society, so that those who were once excluded may have the chance to return to a normal life.
The film’s cast includes Zofia Domalik, Maria Sobocińska, Jowita Budnik, Adam Cywka, Halina Rasiakówna, Magdalena Czerwińska, Helena Englert, Magdalena Celmer, Ryszard Kluge and the Olsztyn-based actors: Artur Steranko, Marzena Bergmann, Agnieszka Harsimowicz and Grzegorz Gromek.
The filming took the crew to a number of locations, including Jeziorany, Purda and Lake Serwent. The cinematography is provided by Tomasz Naumiuk, an cinematographer and director from Olsztyn, who previously worked on films such as Agnieszka Holland’s Obywatel Jones.
