Wilamowo – airfield

The airfield was established in 1935 and originally used for air sports.

Later, it served Hitler’s “Wolf’s Lair” headquarters in Gierłoż, was used to fly passengers to and from Hitler’s quarters and the “Anna” quarters in Mamerki, and formed a part of the outer defences for the headquarters and other quarters.
