The village of Rasząg is home to a historic Lutheran church with a stunning, almost fairy-tale appearance.
Although it was built in 1925 and is classified as a Neo-Romanesque edifice, it seems to belong to a completely different time. The entire structure was constructed with fieldstone. A hill was chosen as the site for the building, making it clearly visible even from afar. The single-nave body, crowned with a gable roof and square in plan, is adjoined by a dominating round tower. The entire roof is covered with red tiles. The interior walls and stained-glass windows are predominantly coloured in shades of blue, perfectly matching with the natural colour of the barrel vaulting and the deep blues of the domed ceiling above the chancel. The dark-wood pews and altar blend perfectly into the overall design.
