Pieniężno – Castle of the Warmian Chapter

The Castle of the Warmian Chapter in Pieniężno was built in the 14th century in the Gothic style on a trapezoid plan.

It comprised a main residential wing to the west, a utility wing and a courtyard, with the whole structure ringed by a wall. The castle was burnt down in 1945 and has lain in ruins even since. The only surviving features are the remains of the residential section of the castle (the northern wing) and the cellars with Gothic vaulting.
