Olsztyn – 19th-century railway bridge

The construction of Olsztyn’s railway bridge system commenced in 1872-1873, when the first bridge was built, consisting of three arcades built on massive pillars.

In 1892 a twin (southern) bridge was built. The height of the bridges (20 meters) allows the train passengers to view almost the entire panorama of the town. In 1977 the bridge was entered in the register of architectural monuments.
