Olsztyn – 19th-century Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession

The Olsztyn Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession, under the invocation of Christ the Saviour, is a monument of religious architecture erected in the second half of the 19th century.

It is a non-oriented, brick building, built in the neo-Gothic style, rectangular in plan, with a pentagonal chancel and a 40-metre high clock tower positioned on the south side of the building. The roof of the body is covered with English slate, whereas the tower’s octagonal dome is topped with copper sheeting. It is an aiseless church, with three matroneums.
