Mamry – lake

A glacial, moraine lake, the second largest in Poland.

The bottom of the lake has a complex topology with many shallows and depressions, with the northern part of the lake being significantly deeper. The bottom growth consists of emergent plants and stoneworts that form underwater meadows. The shores are mostly low and waterlogged. There is tree growth on parts of the shoreline.
