Lidzbark Warmiński – 19th-century Orthodox church

The Orthodox church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul was built in 1818-1823 to serve as an evangelical church building.

It is a wooden, boarded, “post-and-beam” structure built on stone foundations; a matroneum basilica with a nave, two aisles, and five bays. The church features a shallow chancel to the north and a two-tower façade to the south. The interior of the matroneum is supported by square pillars, with wide semicircular arcades leading out to the nave. The inside of the church features a modern iconostasis. The building was entered into the register of monuments in 1957.
