Another instalment of the animated series produced by Andrzej Wojnach, which began with the film MIASTO NAD ŁYNĄ (A Town on the Łyna). This comic book-style cartoon showcases the history of Warmia, from the establishment of the diocese in 1243 to the region’s seizure by Prussia with the first partition of Poland in 1772.
An educational film that offers a look into the fascinating geography and history of the region. It tells its story clearly and brings the distant history of this land to life. Notable is the use of characters of Smętek and Kłobuk from MIASTA NAD ŁYNĄ. The feel of the movie is enriched by Jarosław Gach’s drawings, the dialogue, and the music by Wanda Laddy.
