Drygały – 15th-century church

The first church in Drygały was built in the 15th century.

It was burnt by the Swedish invaders during the period known as The Deluge.

The church was quickly rebuilt, but later demolished in 1730. The existing structure was built between 1731-1732 and houses a surviving Baroque altar. Near the church is a World War I graveyard.
