Szestno – 15th-century church

The Szestno church, under the invocation of the Holy Cross, is a monument of religious architecture erected in the second half of the 15th century.

It as an oriented hall church, with a tower to the west, placed so that the southern wall of the tower and the southern wall of the nave body combine to form a single plane. The building was set on a foundation of fieldstone laid in lime mortar and constructed from brick, except for the ground storey of the tower and the northern walls of the annexe, which were built of fieldstone and brick. The church is almost entirely plastered.
